Until now, DBird had separate extensions for Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. Starting today, all three platforms are covered in a single extension — DBird Dual. Install it once, and it works automatically across all your meetings, regardless of which platform you use.
On top of that, we've added AI Meeting Summaries. After any meeting, you can generate a summary of the full transcript — with custom instructions. Ask it to focus on action items, key decisions, next steps, or anything else that matters to you.
How It Works — Exactly Like Before
If you're already using DBird on Zoom or Google Meet, the new extension works exactly the same way. Same interface, same languages, same translation quality. Simply install the new extension and you're good to go — nothing else changes.
- Enable captions on your platform (Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet)
- DBird automatically detects which platform you're on
- Your translated subtitles appear as usual
- After the meeting, open Activity to generate an AI summary

What Happens to the Standalone Zoom & Meet Extensions
The standalone Zoom and Google Meet extensions will continue to work as-is. However, from September 30, 2026, they will no longer receive updates — no new features, no bug fixes. They will still function until November 30, 2026, giving you a relaxed window to switch over at your own pace.
We recommend switching to the new all-in-one extension now to get the latest features, including AI Summaries, and continued support.
Your Premium Plan Stays Valid
If you have an active Premium subscription, it carries over automatically to the new extension. Nothing changes on your account — same plan, same expiry date, same features. Just install the new extension and log in with your existing account.
How to Switch
- Install the new DBird Dual on Chrome or on Edge
- Log in with your existing DBird account
- Join any Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet meeting and enable captions
- That's it — you're all set
