Does DBird Dual work on Zoom and Google Meet too?+
Yes — DBird Dual is one extension that works across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. Install once and it automatically activates on whichever platform you're in.
Do I need a paid plan on my meeting platform?+
No. DBird works with the free versions of all supported platforms. For Teams, Live Captions must be available in your meeting. For Zoom, enable Closed Captions (CC) from the meeting toolbar. For Google Meet, enable Captions from the meeting controls.
Does it work with desktop apps?+
No — DBird only works when you join your meeting in a Chrome or Edge browser tab. It does not work inside the Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet desktop applications.
What languages are supported?+

Is my data private?+
Yes. All translation happens locally inside your browser using Chrome's built-in translation engine. No audio or text is ever sent to our servers.
Does the free plan have limits?+
The free plan includes 100 translations per day. Premium gives you unlimited translations with no daily cap — and works across Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.
Can I save my meeting transcripts and get an AI summary?+
Yes. Transcripts are saved automatically in your browser — never sent to a server. After the meeting, open the Dashboard to review, copy, or download your transcript. You can also generate an AI meeting summary with one click — the transcript is sent to our server only during processing and is never stored or retained. Transcripts are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Can I switch between inline and floating mode?+
Yes, but only on Microsoft Teams. Inline shows translation below each caption; floating gives you a draggable panel you can position anywhere on screen. This option is not available for Zoom and Google Meet.
